April 2010 - The Year of the Butchers!

Hall Farm Shop expands again with the addition of their own butchers!
John and Stella were keen to have their own beef and lamb return to the farm after slaughter and with the now fully equipped butchers it is reality. Our beef and lamb now spends from birth to butchers counter on the farm, only moving off Stratford St Mary soil for slaughter, just 17 miles away. They also wanted to continue to support other local farmers, sourcing quality local meat to accompany their home reared beef and lamb on their counter.
Our new butchers are working hard providing fabulous cuts of meat and producing home made sausages and burgers to fill the counter 7 days a week.
Development on the butchers counter is set to continue, your suggestions are most welcome, so watch this space!

Snow fun this winter!

We have enjoyed a fantastic white winter for the start of 2010, but it hasn't stopped play at Hall Farm, as we are open as normal, with our shop fully stocked for all your needs. Our cafe restaurant is also enjoying the most beautiful of views out of its' windows; icing dusted fields of the Dedham Vale. We have gritted our car park to help you enter and exit, but please do be careful and drive carefully and walk cautiously!
Our team of happy men and women are looking forward to seeing you.

We are a "One Stop Shop" according to The Independent Newspaper!

We were surprised and proud to be listed as one of the best "One Stop Shops" in The Independent Newspaper on Saturday 21st November. We didn't know that we were inspected by a secret shopper and were over the moon to receive such a fantastic write up for our shop and cafe restaurant.
There is still a copy in our restaurant if you would like a peek or follow the link below:
