Monday to Friday 9.30am ~ 5.30pm
Saturday 9.00am ~ 5.00pm
Sunday 10.00am ~ 4.00pm


An old cattle byre was transformed into the warm and elegant Cafe Restaurant we have at Hall Farm, where everyone is welcome. Whether it is for breakfast, morning coffee, a lighter bite, a more leisurely 3 course lunch, or afternoon tea with a slice of homemade cake, there is something to suit your requirements. Our happy bunch of merry men and women are lead by Trudy Guyott, are able to seat you inside or outside in the courtyard during good weather, both enjoy beautiful views over the Dedham Vale.

Children are welcome, although we don't have a dedicated childrens menu, we are able to adapt any of our dishes to suit. We can also offer pasta with tomato sauce, sausages and chips and more.





The kitchen is lead by Head Chef Benny Moss and fabulous at what they do we home make and hand make everything we can. Scones and bread are baked daily, and our cakes will make your mouth water. Our menu changes regulary, keeping in rythmn with the seasons and what local produce is available. Hall Farm Beef, Lamb and potatoes are also frequently listed, cooked to perfection. We try to use products stocked in our brilliant Farm Shop, so you have the opportunity to take home a taste of Hall Farm too. Our chefs cook to order, so we are able to cater for special dietary requirements as needed. A sample of dishes from our menu can be found at the bottome of this page.


Booking is not essential but to avoid disappointment we advise you to call in advance and reserve a table.


The Barrie Family animals, including ponies, sheep and highland cattle, are in the paddocks around the house, surrounding the restaurant. They are most comical and interesting to watch. Non restaurant guests are welcome to view the animals from 4.00pm daily.
